Full Member Early Career Psychologist Post-doctoral Unlicensed

|
|
|
You should use this category if you are post-doctoral, and unlicensed in any state.
Full Members shall:
- Hold a doctoral degree in psychology from a regionally accredited institution and/or
- be a member or fellow of the American Psychological Association.
- First-time members: Please submit copy of degree and/or APA membership.

|
Student Member
|
|
|
|
Student Affiliate shall:
- Be a student in psychology at an accredited university and
- Be actively pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree in psychology.
- Please send proof of student status with your application.
|
|
|
Associate Member
|
|
|
|
Associate members are:
- Those with a masters degree in psychology or equivalent, or
- a licensed mental health professional other than psychologist.
|
|
|
Affiliate Member
|
|
|
|
Affiliate Members shall be individuals, agencies or groups with an interest in psychology such as:
- attorney's,
- MDs,
- certified paraprofessionals
- This membership group excludes licensed psychologists as individuals or in a group practice.
|
|
|
Retired
|
|
|
|
Retired Members shall:
- Have previously met all requirements of Full or Out of State Members;
- If no longer licensed or an APA Member, have voluntarily relinquished licensure or membership while in good standing;
- Have reached the age of 65
- Are no longer practicing as a psychologist; and
- Have applied for status as Retired Member
|
|
|
Lifetime
|
|
|
|
Life Members shall:
- Have been a member of the Association for at least 10 years, have reached the age of 65 and have retired from professional practice, and
- Have submitted a written request to the Governing Board of the Association to have their membership status changed to Life Member.
- Be exempt from dues to reflect the Association's appreciation for their contributions to NPA over their years of membership but shall be encouraged to make a voluntary contribution.

Out of State
|
|
|
|
Out of State Members shall:
- Meet requirements necessary as a Full Member, and
- Reside outside the State of Nevada and have no current practice in Nevada.
