Suicide rates in older adults continue to rise due to numerous factors. Despite the prevalence being so high, the risks are often overlooked in elderly patients. Dr. Nadler Frankel will provide an overview of suicide among older adults with a focus on risk and resiliency factors, signs and symptoms that go beyond depression to reveal active suicidal or self-harm risk, and tools to improve overall emotional and mental health in the older adult population.
