Postdoctoral Fellow/Psychological Assistant - Odyssey Wellness
We are a diverse private practice setting with an opening for a postdoctoral fellow/ psychological assistant position, to join our team. At our practice, psychological testing and therapy services are provided for a diverse range of clients. The provider will be primarily conducting assessments for forensics, military, at-risk youth, immigration, and Medicaid members. Our clients range from children to adults. Referral questions may include concerns with anxiety and mood, behavioral disruptions, trauma, autism, ADHD, learning disorders, and intellectual disability.
We work with family court in high conflict divorce cases to provide evaluations including but not limited to psychological evaluations, brief focus assessments, child interviews, and custody evaluations.
Opportunities for supervising interns and practicum students are available. Mentoring in private practice is part of the post-doctoral experience. Excellent writing skills are essential for success.
Odyssey Wellness has multiple clinicians on site with an array of experience and backgrounds. It is a collaborative setting developed to support others and promote growth. There are openings for professional development and position advancement post licensure.
The position would be offered as a 1-year contract, although may be extended to 18 months – 2 years with full-time or part-time. There are 10 holidays included, 2 weeks of vacation time, minimum of 1 hour of supervision with a Licensed Psychologist, monthly training, and the option for health benefits. In addition, postdocs are provided with a budget of $500 to use toward trainings that are mutually agreed upon. Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm; however, flexible scheduling is available upon request as well as opportunities to work from home. Postdocs average 40-45 hours per week and are provided with their own office on-site.
Experience with testing, supervision and trauma work will be given extra consideration. Prior work with active-duty military or the VA is highly desired. Spanish speaking is desirable although not required. The expected start date would be August 2023 although options to start sooner may be available. Doctoral Degree must be posted prior to the start date. Based on experience, the potential pay range is $45,000 to $55,000/year.

Post Doctoral Resident
Growing mental health practice looking for 1-2 post-doctoral residents for either full time or part time work. Our office is located in the beautiful Desert Shores area of Las Vegas, NV. We offer individual and family psychotherapy to children, teens, and adults. We also provide group therapy and assessment for children and adults.
Responsibilities will include: intake assessments, individual/family therapy with children, teens, or adults, psychological testing and report writing, writing progress notes/assessments/treatment goals for patients in timely manner, maintaining ethical requirements, attending group and individual supervision, attending didactic trainings.
Requirements include: have a doctorate (or soon be graduating with doctorate) from graduate program from an APA accredited school with a Psy.D. or Ph.D. in Psychology (will consider non APA school with clinical experience), agree to 1 year commitment, knowledge of HIPAA regulations, and previous practicum experience working directly w/ patients in treatment.
Position will include: office space and office supplies, access to electronic medical records (for progress notes, etc.), all billing will be done by Reflections Therapy, weekly individual and group supervision, and weekly clinical training. Dr. Esmaeili will also provide direct assistance with obtaining licensure requirements in the state of NV. Clinical Examiner
Part-time, flexible, remote, independent contractor position Overview Hogrefe Publishing is looking for psychological and educational professionals to join our team of experienced examiners who collect standardization data for our clinical and educational assessments. Your role is to recruit and test qualified participants and submit the data to Hogrefe Publishing for inclusion in the pilot studies, norming sample or validity studies. You will work with internal staff to become fluent in administration of the tests, to understand who a qualified candidate is and to learn the processes and procedures for collecting and submitting data.
Responsibilities Recruiter • Utilize recruiting materials and guidelines provided by Hogrefe Publishing. • Locate qualified candidates for testing considering the sample requirements, inclusion, and exclusion criteria. • Submit profiles of qualified candidates to internal Hogrefe Publishing staff for consideration.
Test Administrator • Secure appropriate location for testing (i.e., your home or office, your participant’s home, other quiet and private space). • Schedule testing sessions with approved participants. • Administer the test following the specific requirements outlined in training, support materials and test materials. • Return completed testing materials to Hogrefe Publishing office each week or as you complete tests.
Your Profile Essential Experience • Minimum of a master's degree in psychology, speech-language pathology or related field. • Large pool of personal and professional contacts from which you can recruit qualified candidates. • Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to work independently. • Exceptional integrity and attention to detail. • Essential computer skills with own, personal device.
