Upcoming CE Webinar:
Treating Black Men Who Have Experienced Sexual Trauma

Vincent Walford, PhD, MPH
Wednesday, June 15, 11:00am–12:00 pm PT
1 CE credit

As part of our partnership with the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, we are pleased to offer Nevada Psychological Association members and affiliates discounted access to the upcoming webinar "Treating Black Men Who Have Experienced Sexual Trauma".

Overall, 1 in 6 men have experienced some form of unwanted or abusive sexual encounter before age 18. Males also make up 10% of the total population of those who have experienced sexual abuse. However, this percentage could be higher due to men not disclosing their experience. Dr. Walford will prepare clinicians on how to work with African American male survivors of sexual trauma. He will review building rapport, discussing myths, and identifying useful coping mechanisms specific to working with male survivors.

     • The discounted cost for NPA members and affiliates is $25.
     • Select the “State Psychological Association Member or Affiliate” webinar ticket type and enter NPA10 when checking out.

Participants will earn 1 CE credit for attending this session. Participants must attend the entire, one-hour presentation and complete the evaluation at the end of the webinar to be eligible for CE credit.
