NPA 2026 - 2027 Call for Continuing Education Content Proposals
The Nevada Psychological Association (NPA) invites licensed psychologists, psychological assistants, post-doctoral trainees, and doctoral students to submit presentation proposals for our 2026–2027 Continuing Education programming cycle. We seek evidence-based, scientifically rigorous presentations that advance clinical, academic, and ethical competencies across psychological practice.

Important Dates
- Call Launch: Monday, August 31, 2026
- Call Close: Monday, September 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST
- Notice of Acceptance: Thursday, October 1, 2026
- Presentations Scheduled: October 2026 through May 2027

Presenter Compensation
- Accepted lead presenters receive one (1) Complimentary Membership for the 2026 - 2027 or 2027–2028* NPA membership cycle at their applicable membership level.
- Accepted secondary or tertiary presenters receive discounted Full Membership for the 2026 - 2027 or 2027–2028* NPA membership cycle at a rate of 50% off their applicable membership level.
- Note: Presenters added after NPA acceptance of a proposal will not be eligible for complimentary or discounted membership unless they are an NPA-approved replacement for an originally accepted presenter who has not already received their membership benefit.
*Membership cycle determined by whether the presenter is a current active NPA member or not. Top
Eligibility & Presenter Requirements
General Qualifications
- Applicants must be a licensed psychologist, psychological assistant, post-doctoral trainee, or doctoral student in an accredited university program.
- Note: Psychological assistants, trainees, and doctoral students must co-present with a licensed psychologist.
Nevada-Based Psychologists
Must be a member in good standing with NPA or activate membership upon acceptance using the complimentary 2026–2027 NPA membership.
Out-of-State Psychologists
- Required: Must have zero pending or adjudicated issues with any professional associations, criminal/civil licensing boards, or judicial systems. Must activate Out-of-State NPA membership (fulfilled via the complimentary membership).
- Preferred: Active member in good standing of their home state psychological association and/or the American Psychological Association (APA).
